Christine Haas is the Founder and CEO of Haas Communications, Former Emmy-Award Winning News Anchor and Investigative Reporter, and Author of CALL ME.
In 2015, Christine created a Public Relations and Video Storytelling firm dedicated to delivering publicity and branding in a simplified way for her clients. Christine left TV news after 15 years in the business. Christine has anchored newscasts in some of the country’s top news markets, including San Diego, Tampa, Minneapolis & Houston.
She’s been honored with numerous accolades including Emmy awards, national and regional Edward R. Murrow awards and more than two dozen Associated Press awards. One of her award-winning stories investigated Texas’ practice of recycling driver license numbers and how it led to mistaken identity. That report led to a change in Texas law.
Then, in one of her proudest professional achievements, Christine’s report on the SBA’s misuse of Homeland Security funding was introduced as evidence into Congressional testimony.

Joanne Herring
It is with great honor that we present Joanne Herring King, who has many accolades and awards including the highest award Pakistan can give and the Lifetime Achievement Award. She is part of the Texas Hall of Fame and was honored by the US Navy, Army, and Marines, the military of Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Nepal, the United Nations, Women for Peace Organization, and is the only woman in history to win a war!
The Joanne King Show was number 1 in Texas for 18 years and number 6 in the United States. She waltzed with the late Prince Phillip, and Julia Roberts portrayed Joanne's struggle to stop the Soviet Union from its advancement from Afghanistan to the Straits of Hormuz in the classic movie "Charlie Wilson’s War," which stars Tom Hanks. She has worked with 7 prime ministers, 6 kings, and 9 foreign ministers, many of whom were men who had never sat down in a room with a woman before. Joanne is known for bringing diverse people together and making it fun.
Vicki Hollub
Ms. Hollub became President and Chief Executive Officer of Occidental Petroleum Corporation in April 2016. She has been a member of Occidental’s Board of Directors since 2015. During her 35-year career with Occidental, Ms. Hollub has held a variety of management and technical positions with responsibilities on three continents, including roles in the United States, Russia, Venezuela and Ecuador.
Most recently, she served as Occidental’s President and Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the company’s oil and gas, chemical and midstream operations. Ms. Hollub previously was Senior Executive Vice President, Occidental Petroleum, and President, Oxy Oil and Gas, where she was responsible for operations in the U.S., the Middle East region and Latin America. Prior to that, she held a variety of leadership positions, including Executive Vice President, Occidental, and President, Oxy Oil and Gas, Americas; Vice President, Occidental, and Executive Vice President, U.S. Operations, Oxy Oil and Gas; Executive Vice President, California Operations; and President and General Manager of the company’s Permian Basin operations.
Ms. Hollub started her career at Cities Service, which was acquired by Occidental. Ms. Hollub serves on the boards of the American Petroleum Institute. She is the chair of the U.S. Secretary of Energy Advisory Board, a stewardship board member for the World Economic Forum's Platform for Shaping the Future of Energy and Materials, and a member of the Oil and Gas Climate Initiative. A graduate of the University of Alabama, Ms. Hollub holds a Bachelor of Science in Mineral Engineering. She was inducted into the University of Alabama College of Engineering 2016 class of Distinguished Engineering Fellows.
